Two Years Ago Today!

I'm sure that I will say this every year, but I can't believe it was two years ago today that we got that call that changed our lives! May 23, 2005 we received our referral for our adorable Sophie Wan Xin. She has grown up so much in the past almost 2 years. This morning in the car to daycare she counted to ten in Spanish unassisted, spelled her name out loud, and proclaimed that she was born in China! Way to go baby! Mother's Day Weekend!

Happy Belated Mother's Day to everyone out there! We had a nice weekend. Sophie's Nana (my mom) was here to celebrate with us and Sophie loved giggling with Nana all weekend! We went to Garfield Park to see a fantastic exhibit called Niki in the Garden. Our friend Kim & her daughter Ella joined us for the morning. Sophie & Ella loved climbing the sculptures & tossing rocks in the water (they got busted for doing that by a worker though) Most of these photos are from there. Reunion Group - I think we may head there as well - it's great for the kids! We rode the EL to get there, and there is nothing a 2.5 year old likes more than a train ride. Enjoy the pics.
