Sophie was very busy this past weekend. We had the parade, Rib Fest, some painting in the back yard, fireworks with the Tollmans, shopping. 
Sophie chose the decor for the back yard windows this year. She did a good job and her writing letters backwards came in handy.
A visit to the River Forest Country Club was a highlight of the weekend. The girls hovered around Eric after dinner. Some other highlights were times with friends, hunting for frogs, and Sophie's first pony ride.
