This weekend, we hit a milestone. We finally got Sophie's mattress and moved her into her "big girl bed". For the past few years, she has slept comfortably, with all of her stuffed animals, in the crib converted to a day bed. Grandma Payne would have been jealous, she had so many friends.
Sophie meticulously made her own bed...

...and repositioned all of her animals one, by one, by one, by one, BY ONE, BY ONE...

When all was done, she fluffed her pillows and firmly resisted that it was time to go to bed.

Love the documentary! The quilt at the head of her bed is really nice, too. Homemade?
Kerri does the same thing. She has a bigger bed and it is full of her "babies".
Bravo to Sophie for graduating to a big girl bed! And it's a very pretty bed too! (Kerri loves the Dora sheet set!).
Julie, You can see more about the quilt here - unfortunately, we don't have tags like the bungalow blog so you can't easily find "subject matter". I bet that would come in handy after 10-15 years of this, huh?
